Various postgraduate administrative forms

This page has links to various documents needed for administrative purposes that can be downloaded, completed, and submitted when

making application to study for higher degrees;
reporting on the progress of postgraduate students;
preparing to hand in a thesis for examination;
nominating examiners for the examination of theses.

Attention of students is also drawn to the online edition of the Higher Degrees Guide. All postgraduates and supervisors are required to be familiar with this guide, which incorporates the policies, procedures and regulations governing postgraduate study at Rhodes University.

Application forms for Postgraduate Study

If you are in the Science Faculty and download these forms and submit them electronically to the Registrar, it would be greatly appreciated if you could also mail a copy to the Dean of Science's Assistant as well. Thank you!

MSc and PhD Study Application Forms
An MSc or PhD application has four (4) components. Downloading all four sections together is the recommended way, as all four sections have to be completed and submitted together, along with transcripts and degree certificates.
